For our next project, we needed to make characters for our stories. These characters could be animated, inanimate or real characters, basically as creative and conceptualised as possible. Sonia ma’am gave us the first lecture to research and explore different comic characters like in manga comics, and other artists who did the similar work, to explore our own style. She also showed us some of her own sketches and we talked about comics and cartoons and characters.
In my imaging class I researched and came across another idea which I asked jai sir about and he approved and today sonia ma’am also went through with it. It is about a type friend almost everyone has, that friends needs to pee every time.
I did the character research for the characters of my new zine in the first half. The second half of the class for me was about making a new storyboard and thumbnails. And to my surprise I was able to complete it in the second half.
I showed Jai sir and Sonia ma’am my storyboard. Both of them asked me to improvise on some of my frames and discard 1-2 of my frames. I’ll be removing the frames while making the zine.
