In todays class we were given 5 situations and were made to think how I felt when I thought of myself in those situations. Even though the situation were very general, it was difficult for me to think and recall what I felt like when I was in that situation.
I made mind maps, I stressed my mind and explored in depth what I felt like when I was really in those situations. The situations given to us were:
- My Happy Place,
- School days,
- Feelings when I looked out the window,
- My best friend and
- Feeling when I wake up in the morning
Then we were supposed to express these emotions only by using dots and lines inside a 4″ by 4″ box. In the beginning I was not able to think of anything. I was confused and frustrated because I couldn’t understand how I was supposed to show complex emotions by only using dots and lines? But as I got the hang of it, making the compositions became very easy and it actually turned out to be a fun activity.
