In this weeks class we further worked on our second Project, the Point of Contact project.
In our Last class we were told to write down 5 physical touches and click pictures of each contact from different angles.
In class we made sketches of our interaction from different angles for better understanding purpose. The rest of the class was for the teams to brainstorm and come with with the ideas for the wearable. Out of our five interactions only two were to be selected, we had picked Bestowing and Sitting on Lap for which we had to come up with a wearable idea.
For Bestowing, we thought we could make a helmet – like wearable and connect it with small lights so that it would light up as the interaction is taking place. For Sitting on lap, we thought about making a stool-like thing for support and comfort for the interaction.
We now have to work on our 3D models and figure out how were going to create our model and by using which material.
