In the last class we were asked to click pictures of this beautiful city during day and night. In today’s class we continued with that, we had to choose any one of the pictures and paint it using shading pencils. We had to capture the shade and shadows that we were able to see in the photograph.
The picture I choose was not that difficult to draw but doing the shadows was really difficult for me. I choose a picture I took near Marine Drive. For me doing the texture of waves was a lot of fun.
I look forward to improving my ability to observe and be able to paint shadows only using shading pencils or charcoal.
