In today’s class we continued working on the prototype and took up working with wood. It was tedious work. The wood was too heavy that was a good thing for the product but it was coming of as a difficulty for us to work with. We got the pieces for the base cut and attached them with big hinges.
Then we cut out the legs for the stool and attached them with smaller hinges, but the were not completely supporting, so we had to add an extra strip of wood on both the top corners of the wearable to give them some extra support.
We had planned on this model being the final one. But we tested it out and we felt that it might not be able to support the weight of a person. We started thinking of more ideas to either change the model completely or rectify it.
