Today we started making our prototypes. We had to bring different materials in order to make the prototype for our abstraction of the hand grips that we made in the earlier class. We were asked to make 3 prototype using different materials like clay, wire, wood, steel, or any other material we can think of. For my first prototype I tried to use card file sheet. But it didn’t have a 3D effect and was simply flat. One lesson I took from this is that these prototypes weren’t gonna be as easy to make as they were to draw.
