Today’s class was a bit different than our usual space and materiality class. We didn’t learn anything new, we had to observe; observe how we hold things and what they fell like, their texture. We learnt about different handgrips. For example, when we hold a pencil we hold it from its tip, all the joints in our palm work together to form a closed tiny grip and this grip helps us hold it.
Today’s class was all about handgrips and our flexes while holding different types of materials. In the end we were asked to draw 6 different angles of at least 4 different handgrips as our homework.
