Today, in class we were introduced to “Gestalt Principles”. I was amazed to know and learn about how they work, how just a few principles can make a poster or any art work more interactive and interesting. Even before knowing about the principles all of us had used the principles in one or another art work. It was fun to actually use in them in my composition and play around with them.
In this class I also got to know that your first draft is always the base for the better things and improved work. When I made my first poster using the principles, I was not fully satisfied, I was happy but i knew that something was missing. As soon as I started playing around with the principles, my poster stared looking my appealing and interesting. Just basic shapes and pleasing colours helped in making a intriguing poster.
