Today we were introduced to a new project. the entire class was divided in groups of 2 and each group was assigned 2 different materials. We were supposed to create a product by up cycling the two materials. The materials we got were plastic and wool.
Shruti ma’am gave us time in class to do our research and come up with the product. My partner, Nishtha was absent in that class that why I had to do the research on my own. I had a target audience in my mind before starting the research. I wanted to make something to help the poorer section of the society. While researching I saw these fancy wine trays and from that I got the inspiration for our project. I decide to make trays using used plastic bottles for roadside tea stalls.
I really liked this idea as it would be easy to make for the stall owners and cost efficient also for them. I am really excited to work on this project. I am just hoping this project turns out the way I want it to.
