My Bedroom

My bedroom is all shades of blue as if the morning sky is prevalent. The sunburst stroke of sunlight brightens up my bedroom. Staying up the entire night, sitting in the balcony, getting lost in the city lights which I always dreamed of and waiting for the sun to rise is my favourite past time.

My bed is the cloud 9 I perpetually want tot live in. When I am on it its almost like I am so deep into the clouds, I can barely think about anything else. This is where my mind creates all the chaos and it’s calm. If you look just above the cloud 9 you’ll find the window to my heaven, my actual home, which is precisely 1222 kilometres that is 22 hours and 12 mins away in Bikaner. It has all my treasured memories. When I look at my wall I can see my entire childhood, my family, my friends, it feels like I am there with my family. Just laying on my bed with the cosiest blanket you can ever have, looking at the pictures makes me feel like I am home and my home is heaven. I first thing I see when I get up are the pictures and it is one of the two things that motivate me to get up in the morning and well the other is my bladder.

The monsters under my bed would consist of all the ghosts of the horror movies I’ve watched, by mistake, but I do feel sorry for them, there is really no space for them.

My room is where I feel most like myself, that is when my roommate is not there. It is a place where I can change anything and everything and still feel comfortable. It is a representation of my room back in Bikaner just smaller. I’ve done the best that I could to make it look and feel like home and I think I’ve succeeded.
