We started the class with a discussion on why time is important and why we must respect time, not just our own time but also others. We then made a list of all the things we do in our daily life and how much time we give each of that activity. The one thing we figured from this exercise is the that our phones are the only constant part of our day. We use it while eating, studying, bathing and what not.
After this we put our last class’s work, our initial narratives and their sketches in front of the whole class and discussed them. Looking at other’s work and critiquing it made me realise where I went wrong in my own work and what I have to improve. We were then asked to make pairs and review each other’s work. based on three questions:
- What are the various ways in which people have depicted time?
- Do you agree with the narrative? Yes? No? Why? Do you think that the narrative is depicting time?
- What are your suggestions?
I reviewed Deepa’s thumbnails. It was about how quickly time passes when you are using your phone.

Prekshika reviewed my thumbnails and she gave me some really nice suggestions that will help me improve my work.

Then Prarthana ma’am gave us a brief on what is to achieve in this project. Ma’am told us to draw thumbnails based on concepts of time through our own perspective. It had to be a series of around 8-10 slides with the same concept and make 3 of these kinds with a different concept in each series and any 2 of them were supposed to be based on an idiom, quote, phrase etc. The way I saw time for this project is: It is an accumulation of our past memories and experiences along with learnings that ultimately lead to one’s growth.
