Everyone was still completing their sketches of their interactions while we had already finished them in last class. So we started thinking about materials to make our prototypes with.
Ma’am finalised ‘sitting on lap’ as our final interaction so, we thought about the prototypes for our product. We have to make a final wearable and 2 prototypes for the same. After discussing our idea with ma’am we came to a conclusion that the best material that we could use for our final product is wood, while for the prototypes we could use different materials like MDF and acrylic sheet. We also planned to add an attachable cushion for comfort.
We are now supposed to create a functional wearable model for our contact. the model should either assist the action to take place or inhibit the action from taking place
