Week-5 Integrative Seminar

In the last class we were asked to write the 6 chapters that are going to be there in our booklet. Imagining an entire city was becoming a little bit difficult for my and that too in 6 different ways. I knew what I wanted to write but I was not able to put it into words. I took a city that I already knew and tried to make it more interesting. I managed to write 3 chapters on the same.

In class we were supposed to do a peer review. I reviewed Vidushi’s write up. She had only written 1 complete chapter and started the second chapter. Even though her work was not complete I had to grade her (Out of 10).

Grading was done on the basis of :

  1. Clarity – 2/2
  2. Relevance – 2/2
  3. Imagination – 4/4
  4. Basic grammar – 2/2

For clarity I gave her 2/2 as her write ups were easy to understand and it was very clear what she wanted to the reader to imagine.
For relevance I marked her 1/2 cause with her stories being incomplete I couldn’t really figure out where the story was going.
For imagination I marked her 2/4 as her stories were incomplete. However, she did a good job with the one story that she had written.
I gave her full marks for basic grammar, that is, 2/2

Even though my stories were fully written they still had a large scope for improvisation. I got a 7/10 from Vidushi.
